This marks another significant collaboration for Fudeng tractors in the East African market this year, following those in Kenya and Ethiopia, demonstrating the strong competitiveness of the HOWON series products in the African logistics sector.

The client who placed the order is a well-known Tanzanian logistics company specializing in cargo transportation from ports to inland cities. With increasingly frequent trade between Tanzania and neighboring countries, their existing aging fleet can no longer meet the demands for efficient transportation. “We needed a tractor truck that could adapt to the complex road conditions in Africa, with powerful performance and controllable operating costs. After comparing three international brands, Fudeng’s solution best met our expectations,” the client representative stated at the signing ceremony.

To address the client’s core requirements, the Fudeng team tailored a HOWO NX400HP tractor truck configuration solution. Powered by a 400-horsepower diesel engine with a maximum torque of 1800 N·m, and paired with a Fast 12-speed transmission, the vehicle maintains stable power output even on the hilly and unpaved roads common in Tanzania. The engine utilizes high-pressure common rail fuel injection technology, reducing fuel consumption by 8%-10% per 100 kilometers compared to comparable models.
